Golf Tip of the Month

One of the most important swing ingredients, but the toughest to accomplish in the cold, is a full shoulder turn.  A complete shoulder coil is key to promote power and proper launch angle and without it, many things can go wrong…loss of distance, push slices, topped shots, snap hooks, and whatever else can ail you.   To help maintain a good turn, be sure to spend time warming up and stretching your core muscles, those through your midsection, as well as your upper arms and shoulders.  During your golf swing concentrate on turning your left shoulder over your right toe in your backswing and your right shoulder over your left toe in the forward swing (for the right handed golfer).  You will hit longer, straighter, and more solid golf shots.

Good luck and check with Pat or Jeff for a lesson should you need some one on one attention.
